4Ever24Fit is celebrating its tenth anniversary of helping Leland get and stay fit.

For 10 years 4Ever24Fit in Leland has been helping clients achieve their fitness goals and improve their lives.

Located in the heart of Leland in the Waterford Village Shops, 4Ever24Fit first opened its doors on November 28, 2011. It’s the entrepreneurial vision of owner Sandra Wall.

Wall always knew she would make a living in this industry. She grew up watching her dad lift weights and always enjoyed weightlifting herself. Originally from Wilson, N.C., she attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

Wall got her start running a gym in her hometown until she made the move to Leland in 1998. She chose Leland as the birthplace for 4Ever24Fit because of the area’s growth potential, and “the oversaturation of gyms in Wilmington,” she says.

On what sets her gym apart, Wall credits three main selling points: “We’re not a big box gym, we have 24-hour access, and we offer the best equipment.”

Unlike chain gyms, which can be overcrowded and impersonal, 4Ever24Fit provides a “family-like atmosphere” where members all get to know each other.

Also unique to 4Ever24Fit is its 24-hour access. Using a coded keycard access system, clients have unlimited access to the facility every day of the year so they can work out on their schedule instead of a gym’s schedule.

The equipment is also top notch — all Life Fitness, one of the industry’s most trusted brands of cardio and strength training products.
Many of 4Ever24Fit’s members come for the equipment and relaxed workout space, and others take advantage of the in-house personal training by Harry Grossman, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. He’s been a personal trainer since 2015 and is certified in TRX suspension, spin, kettlebell and triathlon fitness. All new members are given a free one-on-one session to get to know the facility and the equipment.

4Ever24Fit is for everybody. But the gym especially attracts retirees from the Magnolia Greens, Waterford and Brunswick Forest communities. “Even though they have their own community fitness centers onsite, they come to us because we have more to offer,” Wall says.

Membership plans are available in monthly or yearly packages with senior and family discounts.
