Tammy and Robert Fox share their story about how they ended up Leland

Where did you live before relocating to Brunswick County and what was your occupation?
We moved from Goldsboro, North Carolina, as Rob retired from the U.S. Air Force and Tammy worked as a dental assistant. We lived there for 13 years.

Why did you choose to move here and did you previously have friends or family here?
We chose to move here because we love the ocean and the coastal city of Wilmington. There is so much to do and be involved in. We did not have any friends or family here.

What community did you decide to move to and why?
We chose Bluffs on the Cape Fear to live in. We love that it will be a small community and that it is a little secluded. It has everything to offer and still has the beauty of nature.

What is your job or what are your hobbies here?
Rob is retired, and Tammy works full time as a dental assistant. We love being outdoors working around the house, camping and going to the beach.

How long have you lived here?
We have lived here for one year.

Who built your home and why did you decide to build with them?
Bill Clark’s Legacy Homes built our home. We loved the attention to detail and the craftsmanship put into the house as it is a well-built home. The open floor plan and the lot on the lake are breathtaking.

What’s your favorite thing about southeastern North Carolina?
The ocean and the charm of Wilmington are our favorite things about southeastern North Carolina. We have always loved the coast, and now we have the best of both worlds.
