Leland’s original express car wash operators are back at it again.

Keeping your car clean does not have to be dull, especially if the Hall of Fame Car Wash has anything to say about it. Effortlessly executing its game plan, the one-year-old Leland car wash facility exudes an uber-fun atmosphere that leans into the excitement of athletics by nodding to an array of sports in its branding and the space itself.

At the helm of the creatively themed car wash are Scott Baker, Jane Baker and Jimmy Politis, all Leland locals with more than a decade of experience in the industry — and who collectively share a love of sports.

“We are into sports and thought the theme would be relatable to everyone,” Scott Baker says. “It ties in what we know and love in our personal lives and brings in the business part of it.”

The turf-inspired design in the office space mirrors a football field and communicates the grassy bliss of a golf course or baseball field, while the splashy signage spotlights the car wash’s many mascots throughout the area. Further honing in on their love for a theme, Hall of Fame also decorates for the holidays, with a haunted tunnel in the fall and an LED light display at Christmastime.

When it comes to the services, Hall of Fame Car Wash continues to showcase its MO of athletic excellence — to be the best at washing cars. Case in point: Their stacked roster of wash packages using state-of-the-art equipment includes from your basic wash, rinse and dry; The All Star, which includes tire shine, scent and rain repellent; The MVP, which adds hot wax and bug prep; and the creme de la creme of car washes, aptly named The Goat, which includes everything plus ceramic coating with graphene.

To boot, frequent flyers in the car wash world (we’re looking at you Uber drivers and beachgoers) have the option to purchase unlimited membership packages, allowing visits up to two times per day.

“If you wash more than twice a month it’s a no-brainer for the membership,” Baker says.

Politis adds, “Speed and convenience are our No. 1 goal. We want to make it easy for people to keep their car clean.”

Showcasing good sportsmanship beyond keeping your whip fresh and clean, Hall of Fame Car Wash is active in the community, leaning into its game-day approach via partnering with North Brunswick High School’s athletics program and supporting veterans causes such as The American Legion and the VFW organization.

“We like washing cars,” Politis says. “We enjoy what we do and we like delivering a great experience for our customers. I hope that shows in the service we deliver.”
