Let’s Go to the Expo!
Looking for something to do this Saturday in Leland?
Want to learn more about the products and services of businesses right here where you live? Then plan to attend North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo this Saturday, March 2, from 10 am to 3 pm.
The 15th annual Business Expo will be held at WWAY TV-3’s Event Center and Leland Cultural Arts Center, both located in the commercial section of Magnolia Greens (behind PT’s Grille and Walgreens on Highway 17 South).
New to this year’s expo is a Boat & RV show, brought to you by Cape Fear Marine and Rex & Sons RV. Both companies will have boats and RVs on site for visitors to view.
Some of the Leland-based businesses at the expo will be Corning Credit Union, Home James Realty, Josh London State Farm Insurance, Wilmington Health, ATMC, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, Greatest Potential Chiropractic, Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, Intracoastal Realty, Capeside Animal Hospital, Brunswick Cove, Britt, Whitehead Allstate Agency, Pinnacle Storage, Coastal Integrative Health, Coastal Direct Health & Wellness, Select Bank & Trust, Comet Westgate, Living Word Bible Church and Pet Sense. Carolina Marketing Company will also be there, so you can learn more about North Brunswick Magazine and lifeinbrunswickcounty.com.
Other service-oriented businesses at the expo will be Prestige Outdoor Lighting, Salt Aire Heating & Cooling, Serv-Pro, Cavik Insurance, Leaf Filter, Bemer, Docu-Graphics, Leland Magazine, New Hanover Printing, Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, COSTCO, Painters First Source, Brunswick Electric Membership Corp., Pet Wants Wilmington, Cape Fear Solar Systems, Wilmington Water Tours, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Rodan & Fields.
Nonprofit organizations that serve our region also will be on hand. A few in attendance will be Good Shepherd Center, Kiwanis Club of North Brunswick, WARM, Bair Foundation, Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Hope Harbor Home. And, of course, North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce will be offering information on how you can become a part of, help or volunteer with an organization that has been serving northern Brunswick County for almost 20 years!
In addition to visiting these great businesses at their booths, you can also bring in and safely dispose of your expired and unused medications with the free RX drop off, courtesy of Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center and Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. While you’re there, you can get a free blood pressure screening courtesy of Wilmington Health and a free movement assessment from Coastal Integrative Health.
Have sensitive documents you are looking to shred? Bring those in as well, as there will be a free shred event from 10 am to 1 pm (or until the truck fills up), which is being made available courtesy of South State Bank.
If you get hungry, stop by the Joe Loves Lobster Rolls food truck. They will be on site from 11 am to 2 pm outside at the WWAY Event Center serving authentic Maine-style lobster rolls.
There is something for everyone, so make it a point to stop by the event on Saturday. Parking and admission are free, and you can easily walk back and forth between WWAY and Leland Cultural Arts Center.
The 15th annual North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, RV & Boat Show is sponsored by WWAY TV-3, South State Bank, Cruse Construction, Novant Health, Compass Pointe, Select Bank & Trust, Bluetone Media, Corning Credit Union and North Brunswick Magazine.
