Good Neighbors
Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce honors 30 South Brunswick Middle School students who are recognized as being community citizens.
Thirty students at South Brunswick Middle School were honored on March 17 for being Good Neighbors in their school and in their communities. Honorees, along with their parents, were invited to attend the breakfast and awards ceremony, which took place in the school’s media center.
Teachers presented students with their awards while sharing briefly why the student was chosen to be honored. The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with South Brunswick Middle School, holds the breakfast twice during each school year. Dosher Memorial Hospital and McDonald’s of Southport sponsor the event.
