CCNB OIB Branch Breaks Ground
CCNB breaks ground on its new Ocean Isle Beach branch, expanding convenient banking services for Brunswick County customers.
Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB), headquartered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its future Ocean Isle Beach branch at 6326 Beach Drive SW, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to meeting the growing banking needs of Brunswick County, North Carolina.
Bank leaders, local officials, community partners, customers, and residents joined the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce to mark the start of construction on the new branch, which is expected to open later this year. Chancel Construction is serving as the building contractor.

Designed for convenience, the centrally located facility will feature a drive-thru, ATM access, a night depository, and ample customer parking.
CCNB expanded into North Carolina in November 2024 with the opening of its first Ocean Isle Beach branch at 6649 Beach Drive SW. That temporary location will remain open while the permanent branch is under construction.
CCNB Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Justin M. Lee said the new branch represents a long-term investment in Brunswick County and reflects the bank’s focus on relationship-based banking, trust, and local decision-making.
The expansion comes as Brunswick County continues to see strong residential and commercial growth, creating new opportunities for local businesses, families, and community development.
Kim B. Boyette, Senior Vice President and Brunswick County Executive for CCNB, said the bank’s community-focused approach supports local growth and provides customers with timely lending decisions based on an understanding of the local market.
