Wilmington Wine & Chocolate Festival 2016

A simple fundraising idea that began 10 years ago as a way to benefit the New Hanover County Senior Centers has grown into a much-anticipated event in downtown Wilmington. The three-day festival kicks off with the Grand Tasting on Friday, January 29 from 7 to 10 pm.

Guests will experience delectable hors d’oeuvres prepared Catering Thyme, musical entertainment by El Jaye Johnson and the Port City All-Stars, and comedy by the internationally renowned comedian A Pinch of Basile.

The festivities continue with the Wine and Chocolate Marketplace on Saturday, January 30 from 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday, January 31 from 12 to 4 pm. The Marketplace features wine samples, signature chocolates and specialty foods, vendors, demonstrations, kids’ activities and much more.
