Youth Programs

BALLET & TAP
Participants will learn foundational movements of ballet and tap while being introduced to the positions of the body, French terminology, musicality, and rhythm. Participants will learn balance, motor skills and coordination as they practice moving creatively through space. Semester includes a final performance. All levels.
Supplies: ballet and tap shoes. No class: November 22 and January 17

Ballet and Tap Classes Leland NC

BALLET, TAP, & JAZZ
This course introduces ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance through barre exercises, stretching, center work, and across-the-floor combinations. Participants will learn basic French terminology of ballet, positions of the body, and foundational movement for dance. Semester includes a final performance. All levels.
Supplies: ballet, tap, and jazz shoes.

CLAY FOR KIDS
In this course, participants learn every moment creating with clay is an extraordinary experience! This handbuilding class introduces participants to clay techniques, such as pinch, coil, and slab construction to help develop an understanding of proper handbuilding techniques. All levels.

INTRO TO CLAY
Where hands get muddy! This 6-week class introduces participants to all things clay. Basic handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques, as well as glazing, will be covered. All levels. Supplies included.

SOAP CASTING
