The Power of the Arts

Leland’s fifth annual Youth Arts Day is coming up on March 24.

Join the Town of Leland as it celebrates and recognizes the creativity of local youth at the fifth annual Youth Arts Day. The event will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Leland Cultural Arts Center.

Bring the entire family out for a day of live entertainment, crafts and friendly competition to celebrate the power of youth art. Youth Arts Day will showcase artwork from both public school and homeschooled students who live in Brunswick County. All art entries will be judged by a panel of professional artists, and winners will be selected in elementary, middle and high school categories.

The day will start with crafting and the very popular Mr. Scooter’s performance at 10 am. Art awards will be presented at 11:15 am, and the Wilmington Ballet Students with the U.S.International Ballet will perform immediately after.

The event is free and open to the public and does not require registration.  

If you are a kid in or around Brunswick County, this is the place to be on Saturday, March 24!
