Pure Markets’ OIB Black Friday Market is coming up on November 27.
Pure Markets’ OIB Black Friday Market will brighten the holiday season at Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach on November 27.
Market Manager Chris Wilson says that the move to Silver Coast Winery is temporary due to the COVID-19 virus.
“Because of the generosity of Mary Azzato, owner of the winery, shoppers will be able to shop safely in wide open space,” Wilson says, to which Azzato replies: “This is a hard time for all. It’s up to all of us to support each other.”
Pure Markets and Silver Coast winery will follow N.C. Governor Cooper’s guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing masks. Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the market.
Holiday shoppers will once again be able to avoid crazy Black Friday crowds and shop leisurely among more than 60 holiday shops set up by the area’s finest artisans. Items offered for sale include pottery, handmade soaps and natural skin products, award-winning photography, original jewelry, fabric art, baked goods, handmade pillows, Christmas ornaments, handmade wooden items, wreaths, essential oils and wellness products, holiday decorations, beach decor, hot pepper products, salad dressing, batik items, books, handmade Santas, among many other items. Delilah’s Brew and Chew will provide a gourmet hot chocolate bar.
Butch Barnes, known best for his performances in the Band of Oz and Sea Cruz, will provide music. Wine tasting will take place in the winery, where there will be new Christmas items in the gift shop. A fire pit on the patio will be available for those wanting to take a break from shopping to enjoy warmth while sipping on a glass of wine.
“We’re excited to be at Silver Coast Winery his year,” Wilson says. “It will be a wonderful, festive and relaxing atmosphere to kick off the holiday season. We are looking forward to celebrating the season with new and old friends of the market.
