Spirited: A Roaring 20s Speakeasy
A new Ocean Isle Museum Foundation event replaces Wine Fest on April 30.
Join the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation for a party like no other. Spirited, to be held on April 30 from 5 to 9 pm, will offer wine, beer and spirits along with fine hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, silent and live auctions and more. Spirited is the foundation’s premier annual fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium.
Spirited is the rebranding of the foundation’s previous event, Wine Fest, which was cancelled due to COVID-19 the past two years, but previously was held at the museum annually. As the re-tooled event makes its debut, guests are invited to a Roaring 20s Speakeasy where all cool cats and flappers are welcome to come dressed for the theme.
Ocean Isle Museum Foundation Executive Director Jim Hoffman says, “We know that wine enthusiasts in the area enjoy this event every year. Now with the growing interest in local craft brews and spirits, we hope to attract even more support for the foundation. It’s going to be a good time with good food, good drink and maybe a surprise or two.”
