Sipping & Shopping
The Sunset Beach Holiday Market returns to Silver Coast Winery on December 2.
Pure Markets will present its annual Sunset Beach Holiday Market on Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 3 pm. As in years past, the Holiday Market will be held at the beautiful Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach, thanks to winery owner Maryann Azzato’s offer to host this popular market again.
Shoppers will be able sip award-winning Silver Coast wines while enjoying holiday shopping from more than 90 of the area’s finest artisans. Shoppers may also enjoy wine tastings and browsing in the winery’s gift shop.
All items sold at a Pure Market are handmade, homemade or homegrown by the vendor.
Items offered for sale will include local honey, organic flavored oils and spices, pottery, handmade soaps and beauty products, art for the home, holiday and beach decor, original art, award-winning photography, original handmade jewelry, wood art, fabric art, hot pepper products, holiday wreaths and bows, alpaca wraps, scarves and sweaters, beachwear, glass art, handmade natural candles, essentials oils and wellness products. In addition there will be handmade children’s clothing, doll clothes, handmade baskets and jellies by Margaret Hardin, pet essentials and much more. Al Nord of On Shore Decor will return with his wooden Christmas trees, available until sold out.
There will be food available to eat on the beautiful patio or to take home for later.
Food trucks will include Dixieland Kettle Corn, Blondiez Donuts, Michael’s Seafood Express, Cash’s Barbeque, Bad Eatz, Boba Tea by the Sea and Kona Ice.
In addition there will be Raw Salsa with homemade salsa and queso dip. Cherette Jupiter will be there with her homemade pies and sweet breads. Not to be forgotten for those who are health conscious, is Joes Mom’s Travel Snacks available and packaged for gift giving.
Pure Markets will be accepting donations for the BeKIND Project, which benefits the school children of Brunswick County. The Giving Tree will be back. For a $10 donation, shoppers will select a tag from the tree to redeem for a gift from the vendor whose name is on back of the tag. The vendors enjoy the opportunity to give back to the community. Prior to this year, Pure Markets has been able to donate more than $13,000 to Brunswick County Schools.
