Pure Markets’ OIB Black Friday Market is the place to find locally handmade, homemade and homegrown goods.
Pure Markets will present its annual OIB Black Friday Market on Friday, November 25 from 10 am to 3pm. The market has become a popular local tradition, and this year’s event promises to the biggest yet.
Shoppers can browse beachside among more than 90 of the area’s most skilled artisans. Everything sold at Pure Markets is handmade, homemade or homegrown, and there are no resale items.
Among the items offered for sale will be indoor and outdoor furniture, wooden art, holiday decor, all natural soaps and body products, award-winning photography, pottery, handmade jewelry, original art, fabric art, hot sauces and jams, pine needle baskets, homemade oils, spices and vinegars created by a professional chef, beachwear, homemade salsas, local honey, doll clothes and children’s clothing. In addition, there will be holiday ornaments, pet necessities, fresh seasonal produce and locally made canned goods, yard art, handmade bags, authentic sea glass jewelry, alpaca scarves, wraps and sweaters, and so much more.
Food available will include Dixieland Kettle Corn; Cherette Jupiter’s homemade pies, sweet rolls and breads; Beachside Bakery’s cookies, brownies, muffins and more; and, for the healthy eater, the Finches will be there with their Joe’s Mom’s Travel Snacks.
Pure Markets will be accepting donations for the BeKIND Project, which benefits the children of Brunswick County. The popular Giving Tree also will be back. For a monetary donation, the shopper will select a tag off the tree to be redeemed for a gift from the vendor whose name is on the back of the tag. Vendors enjoy the opportunity to give back to the community.
