Pure Markets’ Sunset Beach Holiday Market at Silver Coast Winery is the place to find locally handmade, homemade and homegrown goods.
Pure Markets will host its annual Sunset Beach Holiday Market at Silver Coast Winery on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Maryann Azzato, owner of Silver Coast Winery, has again offered to host this popular event. “Pure Markets is once again the beneficiary of Maryann’s kindness and generosity,” says Pure Markets Manager Chris Wilson.
Holiday shoppers will be able sip award-winning Silver Coast wines while shopping among 80 of area’s finest artisans. All items sold at Pure Markets are handmade, homemade or homegrown by the vendors. Shoppers may also enjoy wine tasting and browsing in the winery’s gift shop. Entertainment will be provided by Chris Pearson Rock from 11:30 am to 2 pm on the winery patio.
Items offered for sale include local honey, pottery, handmade soaps and beauty products, home décor, holiday and beach decor, original art, award-winning photography, original handmade jewelry, wood art, fabric art, hot pepper products, holiday wreaths and bows, alpaca wraps, scarves and sweaters, beachwear, glass art, fresh seasonal produce, handmade natural candles, essentials oils and wellness products. In addition, there will be handmade children’s clothing, doll clothes, handmade baskets, jellies, pet essentials and much more. New to the market this year will be handmade surfboards by Tom Allen and handmade wooden trays and tables by Eric Shelly. Al Nord of On Shore Decor will return with his wooden Christmas trees.
There will be food available to eat on the beautiful patio or to take home for later.
Jason McMillan will be on hand popping his fresh Dixieland Kettle Corn. Area favorite Blondiez will be serving their amazing made-to-order doughnuts, and the Mocha Cafe food truck will be serving up barbeque. For your snacking pleasure there will be Raw Salsa with homemade salsa and queso dip. Cherette Jupiter will be there with her homemade pies, and for those who are health conscious, Joe’s Mom’s Travel Snacks will be available and ready for gift giving.
Pure Markets will be accepting donations for the BeKIND Project, which benefits the school children of Brunswick County. The Giving Tree will be back. For a monetary donation, shoppers will select a tag from the tree to redeem for a gift from the vendor whose name is on back of the tag. The vendors enjoy the opportunity to give back to the community. Prior to this year Pure Markets has been able to donate more than $10,000 to Brunswick County Schools.
Pawsability will present Pictures with Santa. Bring your human and furry friends for family holiday photos. All proceeds benefit animals of Brunswick County.
