Thanksgiving Cranberry Relish Recipe
In a colander, rinse and pick over the cranberries, removing any mushy ones.
In a saucepan, add the cranberries, brown sugar, orange juice and lemon juice and simmer over medium/high heat to bring to a light boil.
Zest the oranges and drop the zest in the saucepan (reserve a bit for garnish). Peel the oranges, coarsely chop the flesh and add the orange flesh into the saucepan.
By now, the cranberries should be starting to pop. Add the pineapple and cinnamon and stir to break down the orange pieces and cranberries.
Cook an additional 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and refrigerate.
Serve cold garnished with some orange zest.
