A citrusy-twist on a rum-based staple

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lime and orange wedges with the mint and simple syrup, reserving a slice or two and sprig for garnish.
Add the ice cubes, rum and orange juice.
Shake it well to mix and chill. Pour it in a glass and top off with the soda. Then drink it in one gulp like you are in Barcelona! Just kidding. Sip it, it’s best enjoyed that way.
