Joan Wilt is the new volunteer coordinator for Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium.

Ocean Isle Museum Foundation Executive Director Terry Bryant announces that Joan Wilt is the new volunteer coordinator for the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium. In addition to her other duties, Wilt will coordinate volunteer recruiting, scheduling and training at the museum and planetarium.

Wilt spent her career in the educational field, including experience as assistant principal, principal and education specialist. She has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Education Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Supervision and Human Resource Development from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a teaching endorsement in Secondary Mathematics from Christopher Newport College.

She has worked with volunteers in the Southport Lions Club and has been a volunteer herself for the Anheuser Busch Golf Classic.
