Ocean Isle Museum Foundation Announces New Fundraiser
The Ocean Isle Museum Foundation (OIMF) is raffling off a 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE FWD SUV.
Six hundred raffle tickets will be sold at $100 apiece. The winning ticket will be drawn as soon as 600 tickets are sold. Raffle tickets can be purchased by calling the Museum of Coastal Carolina between 10:00 and 3:00 Monday through Friday.
The car is being provided by Dunning Toyota Subaru of Ann Arbor, MI. The winner can have the car driven by the dealer to the winner at the museum, pick up the car in MI, or have the car shipped to the winner’s home (winner pays for shipping). The car’s color is Ruby Flare Pearl with black interior but the dealer will do its best to accommodate different color choices if the winner prefers.
Some of the features on this car include: touchscreen with integrated panoramic backup camera display, anti-theft system with alarm and engine immobilizer, carpet floor mats, cargo mat, height-adjustable power lift gate, fabric seats, hands-free Bluetooth phone/music, six speakers, four USB ports, Sirius XM with 3-month trial period, five-spoke silver alloy wheels, LED headlights, pedestrian detection and blind spot monitor, and power tilt/slide moon roof.
The winner may request additional options at his or her own cost.
The non-profit OIMF is conducting this raffle to offset lost revenue due to COVID-19. The Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium lost revenue by being closed to the public for several months, by canceling the annual Wine Fest and Family Day, and by canceling special lectures and programs that had been planned for this spring and summer – the time of year when both facilities are usually the busiest. Both the museum and planetarium plan to reopen as soon as the NC Governor allows and the board approves. Numerous health precautions will be in place upon reopening; to learn more, visit MuseumPlanetarium.org.
