New in Belville

The Salvation Army Family Store opens in Waterford Business Center.

Many community members gathered at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Salvation Army Family Store in Belville on March 4.

Opened by The Salvation Army of Cape Fear, which serves New Hanover, Columbus, Brunswick, Bladen, and Pender counties, the store will raise funds for the organization’s mission.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible, and its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army Family Store is at 22 Waterford Business Center Way in Belville (between Verizon and Advance Auto Parts). It will be open from 9 am to 3 pm.
