Four Seasons Illumination is lighting up the holiday season via professionally decorated trees and immaculate lighting displays.
Do you envision dancing sugar plums, fab festive trees and ornate displays in your home or business this holiday season? Good news: You don’t have to be the one dangling from ladders or untangling what seems like miles and miles of lights to achieve your ideal Christmastime decoration aesthetic. Four Seasons Illumination can do it for you!
Courtney Walston and her husband, Josh, have been entrepreneurs since they were teenagers starting their still-successful pressure washing business. About six years ago, the couple dreamt up a new idea: professionally installed holiday lights. After a few years of working out the logistics and working up the courage to begin another business, Four Seasons Illumination was officially born in 2020.
“We decided it wasn’t going to be a mom-and-pop Christmas decorating business,” Walston explains. “We wanted to upgrade the quality.”
And that they did. Fun fact: The entrepreneurial endeavor touts the same certification as the installers that decorate the Rockefeller Center in New York City.
The illuminating enterprise does everything for you from the initial design and installation process to maintaining your display throughout the season and then taking it all down once the holidays are over. (Talk about holiday magic!) And beyond creating magical winter wonderlands, the business also does events, parties and landscape lighting services. Not to mention holiday decor for other celebrations year-round (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, July 4th and Easter).
“It started with Christmas lights, but a year into the business I realized I also love to decorate,” Walston says. “So, I started doing Christmas trees for clients, and it has tripled our business.”
Now Walston spends the months ahead of the holidays flexing her Christmas-themed creativity and prepping people’s homes for the holidays — one tree at a time. She has decorated an array of trees, coming up with everything from a Candy Land and Grinch-themed tree to various creative spins on coastal designs. Customers can pick between leasing a tree for the season or having Walston come in and decorate from the supplies at hand.
Looking ahead, Four Seasons Illumination is looking to expand its delighting offerings by franchising in the Florida area, with Walston also stepping into decorating trees virtually. To boot, the couple gives back to the community via decorating public parks, schools and other community areas.
“Every one of my trees is 100% custom-made to whatever matches my customer’s personality,” Walston says. “I take my client’s vision and make it a reality.”
’Tis the season to spruce things up, indeed!
