OIB Summer Markets kick off on Saturday, May 28.
Pure Markets will kick off the OIB Summer Market season at Ocean Isle Beach with the OIB Memorial Holiday Market on Saturday, May 28 from 10 am to 3 pm.
More than 80 makers, bakers and growers will be there with their Handmade, Homemade and Homegrown items for sale. Shoppers will be able to select from items such as original handmade jewelry, hand-sewn handbags, original art, award-winning photography, Koepnick pottery, beach decor, handmade and handpainted pillows and more from market favorite Whimze Willow.
Other things to look for include natural soaps and body products, natural remedies and organic oils, elderberry products, CBD remedies from an expert local producer, local honey, soy candles, handwoven door mats, plants, wooden art, resin art, glass art, fabric art, bucket hats, planters, beach t-shirts, spices, tea and coffee bombs from Southern Tea Blooms, pine needle baskets, outdoor furniture from 341 Repurposed and much, much more.
The food options are incredible too: healthy snacks from Joe’s Mom; pies, sweet rolls and more from Jupiter Pies; Really Good fresh-squeezed lemonade; Sunset Slush; Blodiez Donuts; Dixieland Kettle Corn; old-fashioned pecan brittle and jams from Homestead Farms; and, new to the markets, Coastal Crisp Cookies.
The OIB Summer Market will begin on Tuesday, June 7 and continue every Tuesday through August. Many new and returning vendors will be there throughout the summer season. The location is 5 W. Third St in Ocean Isle Beach.
