Free Coastal Home & Lifestyle Showcase hits Oak Island Nov. 7, 2026—vendors, giveaways, $200 prize drawing, and live music by River Sound.
The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents and visitors to the 2026 Coastal Home & Lifestyle Showcase on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Middleton Park Extension (4610 E. Dolphin Drive, Oak Island). Admission is free, and a rain date is set for Sunday, November 8.
Now held in the fall, the annual Showcase is designed to help homeowners and coastal residents plan winter home improvement projects, connect with trusted local professionals, and discover holiday gift ideas and seasonal services—all in one convenient spot.
A One-Stop Event for Coastal Living Ideas
From big renovation plans to small weekend upgrades, the Coastal Home & Lifestyle Showcase brings together area businesses offering products and services that support life at the coast. Attendees can meet vendors, ask questions, compare options, and gather inspiration across a wide range of categories, including:
• Home improvement products and services
• Landscaping and outdoor living
• Health and wellness
• Home décor and retail merchandise
• Financial services
• Coastal living products
• Unique holiday gift ideas

River Sound to Provide Live Entertainment
Adding to the community atmosphere, the Chamber announced that River Sound will perform live during the event. A fast-rising favorite on the local music scene, River Sound is known for an energetic mix of classic rock, country, and blues, delivering familiar songs that keep crowds singing along and dancing.
River Sound features local musicians:
• Dave Predzin – Guitar/Vocals
• Gene Faller – Drums
• Brian Hewitt – Lead Guitar/Vocals
• Danny Reid – Bass/Vocals
• Leslie Thomas – Percussion/Vocals
• Karen Gregory-Predzin – Sound Engineer/Backing Vocals
Their setlists span favorites from artists such as The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, The Eagles, Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and many more.
“The Coastal Home & Lifestyle Showcase is about more than connecting residents with local businesses—it’s about creating a fun, community atmosphere,” said Karen Sphar, Executive Director of the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce. “River Sound’s music will help make the day even more enjoyable as attendees explore the exhibits, gather ideas for their homes, and discover the many products and services available from our local businesses.”
Vendor Info and Important Deadline
A complete list of participating businesses will be posted on the Chamber’s website in October. Businesses interested in exhibiting are encouraged to register early. The deadline to be included in the printed event brochure is Thursday, October 8, 2026.
