Christine Camp, owner of Carolina Exclusives Real Estate, is a committed and knowledgeable real estate agent in our area.

Buying a house is an extremely emotional experience, but a good real estate agent like Christine Camp, owner of Carolina Exclusives Real Estate, will tell you that a successful home-buying journey begins by looking at the facts and figures.

“I have a degree in finance, so I’m a numbers person by nature,” she says. “Once you get past the impulsive part of the process, you can think things through logically.”

What else makes a great real estate agent? Someone truly committed and knowledgeable about the areas they represent. Camp’s family has owned property in Brunswick County since 1947. Her parents purchased property on Oak Island in the early 1970s.

Camp comes from a family of real estate professionals. In 2008 her mother, Gina McNiel, founded Carolina Exclusives and grew it into a successful agency over 15 years. During this time, Camp worked as an account manager for L’Oréal, her dream job until it was taking too much time away from her daughter. After several promotions and numerous relocations, she went looking for a lifestyle change.

Her family moved to Oak Island in 2014, and that is when she started her career in real estate.

“I moved here without having a base, so I started out working leads,” says Camp, who has since been recognized as a top producer in Brunswick County.
In 2023 her mother decided to retire, and Camp purchased Carolina Exclusives. The boutique agency has continued to grow organically since its founding. Most of their clients are previous clients and client referrals from Southport to Calabash.

As a small, boutique agency, Carolina Exclusives is client-focused and emphasizes quality above quantity without over-ambitious, franchise-imposed sales targets. The agency is known for providing expert advice.

“Oak Island has been part of my entire life, and I want to share my love and knowledge of the island with my clients,” Camp says. “I know my market inside and out and I want to be the client’s go-to person for the area.”

Camp would also like for Carolina Exclusives to be known for their honesty, integrity and “willingness to go the extra mile.” Additionally, Camp is a strong, seasoned negotiator who makes sure her clients are fairly represented.

Today, Carolina Exclusives has seven agents, including the dynamic duo team of Holly Biggs and Hunter Brooks. As a team, they create an exceptional ebb and flow experience for their clients in the home-buying process by playing off each other’s strengths.

Biggs started her career as a dental hygienist, but after 13 years she wanted a change of pace that still provided opportunities to meet new clients. Her drive to become a real estate agent came from immersing herself in the atmosphere and culture of beach life.

Brooks started his journey in aviation when he was in the military, which he then turned into a 14-year career. After reaching milestones in the world of aviation, he has set a new goal to start a career that is exciting yet adventurous at the same time.

“Clients are not transactions. We’re here all here for the long-term relationships,” she says.
