Brunswick Community College Foundation hosts its sixth annual fundraiser for student scholarship support.

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Brunswick Community College Foundation (BCCF) hosted its signature fundraising event, Bella Italia, at 101 Stone Chimney Place in Supply on June 25. This year’s gala was presented by Dinah E. Gore, Myong & Paul Jensen and Brunswick Community College.

Attendees enjoyed an evening of sipping fine wines and enjoying delicious Italian fare and desserts. They also heard heartfelt stories from three BCCF Student Ambassadors, who shared how they overcame obstacles to attend the college.

They heard from students like Samuel, who was concerned about how he was going to pay for college; Lena, who did not have a career path but was able to explore different careers at BCC; and Alexis, who values her education that affords her the opportunity to “get the job she wants.”

Proceeds from this event go toward student scholarship support. Faculty and staff at Brunswick Community College would like to thank the Bella Italia sponsors and attendees for their continued support of the college.
